Tyree Callahan is a Washington-based artist who replaced the ink pads of a typewriter with coloured paint pads and the letter keys with colour markers. I love that the idea connects language and art.

Ceramics are not usually something I would think about spending my money on. They’re too ceramic-y and generally they don’t seem, to me, to push any boundaries.
They don’t stand up to the looking and the constant and sustained examination that a painting does for example.
But these. These are different.

It’s not often I read beauty blogs (although there are some fab ones around). I have roughly 15 pieces of make-up in the world. I use five of them. They work, I like them, I don’t feel like I need anything else, except the occasional whoosh of blue eye liner because the sun is shining.
